AYC PROFILES 2007-2008

Dear Alpine Youth Council,

This is your current site administrator, Josh Hanson, biding you a fine welcome to our blog. Here we will not only keep a history of the council to be maintained for decades, but also get to know each member in the council a little bit better. I will be the first to post my AYC Profile to the blog, I expect everyone else to follow suit or else I will make a devastatingly embarrassing one for those who don't. But include anything appropriate, and I would highly suggest a picture to coincide with your post. You will all be eligible for posts after you accept my invitations via email - don't abuse this right or else that status will be promptly taken away and laborious posts removed.

THANK YOU!

AYC PROFILES: Carly Richards - Mayor Pro-Tem

Hey everybody! Carly Richards here. Currently Mayor Pro-tempore, but soon to be Mayor! So, a little about myself... I am the youngest out of 6 kids, supposedly I am very spoiled, but I don't think so. I love to cook, read, hang with friends, write music, ride horses, go to the beach, shop... My true passion is probably singing. I love music and would die without it. My heart, however, will always be in Charlotte, North Carolina (my hometown). I love you all and I am looking forward to a magnificent year with everybody!

AYC PROFILE: Josh Hanson - Mayor

Hello, my name is Josh Hanson, welcome to AYC 2007-2008! We rule; yet I'm sure if you're on AYC in the present that you rule too. Regardless, in way of introduction I have presided over many local organizations this my senior year, including Lone Peak's Operation Smile Club, Lone Peak's Interact Club, Lone Peak's Knights Guild, and several others I have been a part of the presidency of all in addition to being 1st Term Mayor of the Alpine City Youth Council. In short, I love leadership, and leadership is service: never forget that and you'll be a success. I will be on my way to Westminster College this fall in Salt Lake City, Utah, in part due to the revolutionary service I prodded the Alpine City Youth Council into doing. That service was the Navajo Nation Humanitarian Mission in September of 2007, and such is my legacy in the Alpine Youth Council: "service below and beyond ourselves." Remember the power each of you has, and remember that you did not, unless you have chosen, enter this reality to be conquered. Amen.
